HRIS Assistant (Temporary)

The Human Resources team at the Whitney Museum is looking for a temporary Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Assistant to work in its Kronos based system.  The HRIS Assistant  will help with the bi-weekly payroll, input new hires, update addresses and terminate employees from the system; trouble shoot employee questions about attendance, time off, resetting passwords, etc.  The position requires onsite work 5 days per week.

Additional responsibilities include administrative duties around onboarding including emailing new hire paperwork and creating paper files. 

Qualifications

  • B.A./B.S.
  • Payroll experience
  • HRIS experience
  • Solid communication skills (verbal, written and listening)
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff in a friendly and professional manner
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results
  • Exercise good judgment

Technology Skills

  • Advanced knowledge MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Concur, Slack and Zoom preferred
  • Experience with HRIS databases preferred
